ABILENE, Texas — February 14, polls will open for the early voting for the March 1 Texas Primary Election.
Early voting will go for two weeks from Feb. 14-25.
The voting experience will be similar to what has been done in the past.
For the first week, early voting locations in Taylor County will be open from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. (Monday-Friday).
On Saturday (Feb. 19), for 12 hours from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m.
On Sunday (Feb. 20), for 6 hours from 12 p.m. to 6 p.m.

Identification requirements that have been in place in the past will also be in place for this election.
Mail-in ballots will now require a driver’s license or a state-issued ID number or a social security number.
The deadline to apply for a mail-in ballot in person is Feb. 18 at 5 p.m.
